What to expect in a shoot with me
Being photographed can feel exciting, vulnerable, awkward, fun, or all of the above at once.
I will create an experience that feels relaxed, collaborative, and creatively fulfilling while making images that still feel true to you.
Prior to the shoot
I love building moodboards and shaping ideas together before a shoot. Whether you already have a clear vision or no idea where to start, I’m happy to help guide the process!
I keep a very serious list of beautiful Ontario spots that we can go through together depending on the atmosphere you’re drawn to (though always open to suggestions!). I also have outfit guides for anyone feeling stuck on what to wear.

During the Shoot
I like shoots to feel easygoing and collaborative rather than overly stiff or heavily posed. There’s always music playing, lots of movement, walking around, experimenting, chatting, and figuring things out together as we go.
I’ll guide you throughout the shoot with prompts and direction when needed, while also leaving space for candid and natural interaction. Some photos may feel more posed and some completely unplanned, but the goal is always the same: creating images that feel true to you, your relationship, your family, or whatever story we’re documenting together.
My Visual Approach
My background in documentary filmmaking and cinematography has heavily shaped the way I approach photography. I care deeply about lighting, composition and atmosphere because those are the details that create emotion within an image.
Lighting especially changes everything. The weather, time of day and location all affect how a photo feels. I’m always happy to walk clients through these details to help shape the mood and look of a gallery together.
Editing is also a huge part of my process. I love color grading and shaping images in a way that reflects how the moment actually felt to experience. My editing tailored playlist helps a lot with this!
The Final Gallery
I don’t believe in unnecessarily limiting galleries. Every meaningful and successful image from the session will be edited and delivered.
I get just as excited to share photos as my clients are to receive them, so I will be sending sneak peeks within a few days, with full galleries delivered within two to three weeks!
Prints can also be ordered directly through your online gallery if you'd like physical copies of your images :)

I’m currently booking weddings and elopements and would love to hear more about what you’re planning. I’ve never done a photoshoot before. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Most of the people I photograph aren’t professional models and many have never been in front of a camera before. I’ll guide you naturally throughout the shoot so nothing feels overly stiff or intimidating.
Do you travel for shoots?
Happily. I’m based in Toronto and primarily shoot within the GTA and Southern Ontario, but I’m ALWAYS open to traveling! Please pitch me your dream location immediately.

How do I book?
Once you reach out, we’ll talk through your idea, choose a package, and secure your date with a signed contract and deposit.
Do you offer discounted or charitable work?
I care a lot about storytelling and community, and I’m always open to hearing about meaningful projects, fundraisers, or causes that could benefit from photography support. Feel free to reach out and tell me more.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Sometimes bad weather actually creates the most beautiful photos. But if conditions genuinely don’t fit the vision for the shoot, we can absolutely reschedule.
